Introduction
The Engineering Services Department oversees and coordinates service area expansion, construction and water main extension policies, and field inspection. Engineering staff process water service applications and construction permits, maintain EWW facility records, and implement the Cross Connection Program. Department staff are available to meet with current and potential customers to ensure they receive an acceptable level of water service. Water service applications and general questions can be e-mailed to engineeringservices@eriewaterworks.org. Plumbers and contractors can submit proposed work plans for approval and annual backflow test reports to backflowprevention@eriewaterworks.org.
