EWW RATES AMONG LOWEST IN STATE!

Black and Veatch, a nationally renowned engineering and consulting firm, has recently published its periodic, "Water Rate Survey – 2001" an independent water rate study, in which they compared the cost of water and wastewater services in twenty-four (24) different communities throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  This study compared residential rates at two (2) levels of usage:  30 ccfs (hundred cubic feet) and 60 ccfs , and the results are shown below.  Please note that the average EWW customer uses between 25 and 30 ccfs per quarter.

As you can see, with the exception of Philadelphia, the ERIE WATER WORKS has the LOWEST QUARTERLY BILL at both levels of consumption!  The EWW is very proud of these results, and considers it a privilege to serve the residents of Northwest Pennsylvania.  We will strive to keep your rates as low as possible while continuing to maintain or raise the water quality and level of service you have become accustomed to receiving.
